Performance of Glass-lined Equipment

The glass-lined equipment is made by coating the high silicon content enamel onto the surface of metal body and then firing them at high temperature ( ~ 900℃ ) in order to achieve a high adhesive strength of the enamel on the steel basic body. The glass-lined equipment, therefore, has high mechanical features and corrosion resistance. Substituting stainless steel and nonferrous metal equipment, the glass-lined equipment is widely used in fine chemical, pharmaceutical, dyestuff, pesticide, metallurgical and food industries.
Corrosion Resistance Stability: Very high corrosion resistance against inorganic acid, organic acid, organic solvent with different concentration and weak base, but not applicable to alkali, hydrofluoric acid, fluoride-bearing medium and phosphoric acid with concentration above 30% at temperature over 180℃.
Resistance to Impact: 220×10-3J.
Thermal Shock Resistance: Resistance to sudden cooling 110℃, Resistance to sudden heating 120℃。
Insulation Performance: The enamel surface should be strictly tested at 20000V.
Design Temperature: Vessel: 0 ~ 200℃, Jacket: 0 ~ 200℃.

The glass-lined equipment will be fabricated, tested and accepted in compliance with Chinese STD HG2432(Quality Standard of Glass-lined Equipment for Industry).

Glass-lined Accessories: Beside standard accessories, the special ones are available for the special chemical process.

1. G/L Agitator: gate, anchor, paddle, impeller, propeller and disk agitator.
2. G/L T.W.: straight pipe, finger type, fin type and baffle with or without temperature sensor.
3. Drive System: planetary cycloid pin gear reducer and gear reducer with general motor or Ex-motor. Mechanical or frequency changing variable drive.
4. Shaft Seal: stuff box, single mechanical seal, dry seal and double mechanical seal.
5. Discharge Valve: upward discharge valve and downward discharge valve with or without temperature sensor, manual or pneumatic bellow type discharge valve.
6. Manhole Device: The protection ring and balance device are available.
7. Gasket: asbestos with rubber or asbestos free fiber corrugated insert gasket with PTFE envelope.
8. Clamp: cast iron clamp or forging clamp.
